On-site Inspection for Research and Guidance

On the morning of May 31, Gao Yunhu, Director-general of the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China), Wang Wenyuan, Chief of the Resources Division of the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of MIIT, Ai Chong, a leader of the same division, Kong Lei, Deputy Director of Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the leaders of the relevant commissions and offices of Heibei Province and Tianjin Municipality visited Caiyu Economic and Technological Development Zone, carrying out research on new energy power batteries in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and especially visiting the workshops of Pride and learning about the relevant work.

Accompanying their visits and reporting work to them were more than 20 outstanding representatives of enterprises in the new energy field, including BAIC Group, BJEV, Beijing Pride, Beiqi Foton, Beijing Jiangxin Battery, Tianjin Green Renewable Resources, Shijiazhuang Green Renewable Resources, The Special Committee of Comprehensive Utilization of Industrial Resources of CIECCPA, etc.

In the company of Executive Vice President Yang Huai and President Assistant Yang Sanhu, Director Gao Yunhu and his retinue visited the workshops of Pride, Making detailed investigation on the R&D, design, production and after-sales guarantee of battery packs. Director Gao Yunhu applauded Pride's product achievements and technological innovation in the field of new energy vehicles over the years and encouraged Pride to increase investment in research and development to maintain their technological advantages.

Information Sharing about the Seminar

This seminar was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Pride Building. Yang Huai, Executive Vice President of our company warmly received the visitors and introduced the relevant information of Pride. Attending the seminar were Zhang Jian, Deputy General Manager of BAIC Group, Ma Fanglie, Deputy Director of Administrative Department of New Energy Vehicles of BAIC Group, Yuan Chengyin, Deputy General Manager of BJEV, Executive Vice-President of Research School of Engineering of BJEV, Li Yujun, General Manager of Beijing Jiangxin Technology Co., Ltd, etc.

At the seminar, Director Gao Yunhu and his retinue fully listened to and affirmed the enterprises in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region for their work achievements of power battery recycling. Focusing on the problems the enterprises of vehicles, battery production, cascade utilization, and resources recycling in this region and communicating and coordinating various problems in their work, he emphasized the need to strengthen the Region’s cooperation in order to break the geographical boundary limits and play a leading role in demonstration. Finally, based on the national policy, he deployed the key orientation of power battery recycling for the future.

Finally, Director Gao Yunhu put forward the following valuable suggestions on recycling and utilization of new energy vehicle power batteries in the Region:

I. The vehicle manufacturing enterprises should attach great importance to the recycling and utilization of power batteries, proactively establish internal management system and system and implement the producer responsibility system.

II. Coordination and cooperation between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei should be further strengthened and the cooperative mechanism for the Region should be set up and go into operation by focusing on the top-level design.

III. Investment in technological innovation and research and development should be enhanced to maintain China's advantages in terms of the power battery recycling technology and the markets;

IV. The pilot work should be well carried out by relying on key enterprises and projects and breaking the geographical boundary limits in the Region so as to do a good job in taking the lead and setting up an example;

V. Establish the information management system as soon as possible so that the enterprise in the upper and lower reaches can break the limits, share the information and enhance the work efficiency.

Vigorously developing new energy vehicles is not only a national strategic demand, but also a need for the development of cities and enterprises themselves. With products and services as the basis, Pride will expand from the core business of vehicle power batteries to other fields including energy storage, cascade utilization, mobile charging and so on, so as to create more values for the society step by step.
